10/9/08 11:34 pm - ...Ike Youtube movies...   Here are some of my quick movies... This is driving into Galveston off the causeway. The highway is still lined with huge boats, ships, yachts...whatever... This is driving down 61st towards seawall. The businesses are just gutted. A quick tour of the outside of my house & all my stuff...in a pile outside my house. This is my crew removing the guest bath. I am getting a new one installed ASAP...but the insurance damaged out the walls, cabinets & tubs. This is how they are removing debris. One crew removes appliances, one gets stuff, another picks up paint & gas & chemicals, then there is normal house trash like food... NOW, the sheetrock is dryed in for the interior walls. I amwaiting on the insulation guy for the exterior walls & then they can be sheetrocked, taped & floated. The marble baths, surrounds, doors & vanity tops have been ordered & will be installed next week. Paint will be next week after sheetrock. THEN I choose & install flooring & then appliances. Also at some point I will need new doors. I still have not gotten much money from insurance. They are super slow!!! |
